Job purpose:
To deliver efficiency and effectiveness in purchasing services relating to technical goods and services for the Service Unit of the Multi-Site of Akzo Nobel in Ningbo and its Customers.
Position in the organization:
Reporting to : Manager Planning & Logistics
Staff :
Other organizational relations : Maintenance manager & engineers of various plants on site

Key figures (of the job):
- Full time
- Day shift
- Total of about 0 to 3 subordinates
- Number of projects in hand approximately 10
- Hired in and outsourced about 40 man-years and approximately 2 million RMB
- Number of purchase contracts 10 /year
- Total direct purchasing value ~10 Million RMB
Qualifications:
- Works and thinks at academic level and has extensive relevant experience
- Knowledge of market trends in the purchasing of technical goods and services
- Knowledge of market mechanisms, customers and suppliers
- Has the presentation technique to be able to put across the strategic vision, possibilities, approach and findings to customers and colleagues.
- Has the leadership and coaching capabilities to create conditions so that subordinates can develop in terms of effectiveness, efficiency, quality awareness and independence.
- Initiative, alertness, solution-driven, ability to foster teamwork and integration and implement long-term vision in all phases of projects.
- Excellent command of English (speaking and writing)
- Have the communication skills to build up and maintain networks and contacts.
