We are now offering following open position for Thermal Design Engineer and may provide overseas training opportunity.
Essential Duties:
1. To participate both Oil, Gas & Chemicals projects and local industrial projects responsible for heat exchanger engineering work including thermal rating Shell & Tube / Air Cooler, coordinating disciplines i.e. Process, Piping, Civil / Structure, etc; preparing equipment data sheet, technical specification, material requisition, vendor technical bid clarification/evaluation and vendor prints review.
2. Supervise and co-ordinate with DI / Vendor in detail design engineering
3. Review and Support DI / Vendor’s engineering work
4. Support estimating and proposal activities
5. Support procurement in engineering activities
6. Perform field engineering activity
7. Perform programming or basic or preliminary or detail design
Job Related Qualifications:
1. Majored in process or mechanical engineering or heat thermal, bachelor or higher degree
2. Good command in English language, both spoken and written. Must be able to communicate effectively with potential/current customers, project managers, and project team members located throughout the world.
3. Has 5 plus years experience in thermal design of heat exchangers.
4. Familiar with relative Chinese GB and have the knowledge of international codes and standards including TEMA, API660, and API661.
5. A team player with strong interpersonal skills
6. Able to work under pressure to meet challenging objectives on Mega-Projects. Oil, Gas and Chemical (OG&C) plant design and JV/WOFE working experience is a plus
7. Familiar with CADD, MS word and excel
8. HTRI experience is preferred
