Company’s China Division was founded in 1994 as a wholly owned subsidiary of company in Switzerland, with manufacturing/sales and marketing facilities being based in Guangzhou. Expansion of Guangzhou operation continued with manufacturing branches in Tianjin and Beijing and a representative office in Shanghai. In 2006, the company decided to build its China HQ in Suzhou, which involves the HQ building and the first phase of project, including a technological center. It acquired a land area of 75,000 square meters in SIP for the project, and the investment amounted to 20 million USD. So far the company has built 6 manufacturing sites and several sales offices located in the main cities, total employees are up to 500 in China.
