Application Specialist - Plastics
Responsibilities:
1.Manage Analytical Section:
•Develop a service-orientated section to support customer technical service and application development projects.
•Ensure the smooth operation and cost-efficiency of the section and develop new hardware/test method.
•Supervise technicians and support the development of them.
•Ensure the best EHS practices are being carried out in the Formulation Section and continues to improve them according to Ciba and local authorities requirements.
2.Asia Pacific Representing one global Skill Centers
•Develop and implement Industry Specific processing technologies and test methods in the Skill Center.
•Participate in global method harmonization and developmental projects to ensure the regional market requirements are catered.
3.Technical-Marketing Support:
•Consolidation technical information of specific industries and develop technical know-how for growth projects in the region.
•Design and execute application development projects in Asia Pacific Technical Center.
Requirements:
•Deg or Higher Deg in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering with min 2 years of experience in Analytics
•Products handled : thermoplastics processing experience, such as extrusion, injection molding, blowing film, fiber spinning, etc
• Experience in working for multinational company
• Supervise a small team of lab technicians
• Speed and quality of technical promotional data generated for key strategic products
• Good communication skill in English
• Be self-motivated, and show initiative & creativity
• Be a good team player
• Customer service oriented
